A new gaming platform entered a highly competitive niche dominated by major players such as Skycoach and Overgear. With dozens of offer pages planned at launch and hundreds more scheduled for future expansion, the entire SEO framework had to be designed and implemented long before the website was even built.
Initial challenges included:
- A brand-new domain with no history or authority
- No test website available until late summer
- Tight deadline to prepare the site for launch on October 25, 2025
- High competition in the boosting niche
- The need to generate organic traffic quickly after launch
Initial Situation
Problem
The project needed to enter a highly competitive market with a brand-new domain, no existing content, and no testable website available until the late development stage – while still achieving fast organic traction immediately after launch.
Objectives
- Build a complete SEO-ready website structure
- Prepare key offer and category pages
- Create a scalable content strategy
- Ensure technical readiness for flawless indexation
- Warm up the domain with pre-launch link building
- Achieve visible organic traffic immediately after launch
Target Audience & Competitors
Target Audience: gamers aged 18–35, MMO/FPS competitive players, users who need help with ranking, PvE/PvP challenges, or coaching.
Competitors: Skycoach.gg, Overgear.com
Tools Used: GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, SurferSEO, Looker Studio.
Promotion Stages
Stage 1 – Research & Preparation (June–July)
Completed:
- Semantic research and clustering
- Competitor analysis
- Technical recommendations
- Site structure development
- Content briefs for all key offer pages
Example: Competitor analysis

Stage 2 – Structure & Internal Linking Recommendations
Since the website planned to include many game categories and offers, we immediately proposed building a strong internal linking strategy, including:
- Adding global navigation links to all game categories
- Creating contextual internal links between similar offers
- Linking blog articles directly to relevant offer pages
- Strengthening cross-linking inside all commercial pages
- Ensuring crawl efficiency for large-scale future content
These recommendations helped establish long-term scalability and fast discoverability.
Stage 3 – Domain Warming & Link Building (August)
With no test site available, we created a temporary single-page version of the website. We also launched early link building:
- Business directory listings
- Outreach
- Crowd link building

This prepared the domain for proper indexation ahead of launch.
Stage 4 – Technical Optimization of the Next.js Website (September–October)
Our technical audit revealed significant issues, including:
- Parameterized internal URLs
- Low PageSpeed
- Missing Article Schema
- 404 errors in the footer
- Improper SSR for blog/offer pages
- Sitemap formatting errors
- Canonicals outside <head>
- Overly nested URL structure (/game/, /category/, /item/)
- Test environment indexing risk
All critical issues were resolved before launch.
Example of a pre-launch issue: invalid category URLs should have returned a 404 status code, but instead loaded a non-functional page, creating indexing and crawl risks.⬇️

Stage 5 – Launch & First 45 Days (October 25 → December)
After launch:
- Properly optimized pages started receiving organic traffic from day one
- Indexation was fast and stable
- Active blog development began immediately
- We targeted trending games and seasonal queries to accelerate early traffic
- Strong internal linking improved crawl depth and visibility
Results
Google Search Console:
- Clicks: 22,900+
- Impressions: 604,000+
- Average CTR: 3.8%
- Average Position: 10.3

The data clearly shows a strong upward growth trend starting shortly after launch, with a sharp increase in both impressions and clicks toward the end of the analyzed period. This confirms fast indexation, growing visibility, and increasing organic demand across multiple keywords.

As a result, the project achieved fast indexation and received its first organic traffic within the first days after release.
A well-planned internal linking strategy allowed search engines to efficiently crawl the website and rank a large number of offer pages in a highly competitive gaming niche. Pre-launch link building activities helped the new domain gain initial trust and visibility.
Content optimization and the timely launch of a blog with articles focused on trending games enabled the site to capture search demand almost immediately, without waiting weeks for visibility to grow.
Overall, the chosen SEO strategy proved highly effective, delivering measurable results within the first 45 days and creating a solid foundation for further scaling and long-term growth.
